Kaplan Turbine (Recirculating type) 1.0 HP                                  

Note: Turbine will have Fixed guide vanes.

AIM : To Study The Performance Of Turbine.

          a) At constant speed characteristics

          b) At constant head characteristics

Specifications :

Pump: 7.5 HP or 10HP Manoblock  pump.

Venturi meter : Steel fabricated with pressure tap outs.

Loading: Spring balance and Brake drum 250mm dia.

Starting : By starter

Flow Control:  By valve operation

Turbine Head :  measured by pressure gauge and Vacuum gauge.

Turbine Runner : 4 blades,150 mm dia.brass metal

Turbine speed : 2000 RPM Maximum

All civil works and Electrical works are NOT in our scope of work .That is all customers responsible. Platforms and civil works should be ready at the time of installation.

Note : Under ground sump tank should be L12'X B6'X H6'and provision should be there to fix turbine casing and mano block pump at the time of installation.(If you selected open type model) Otherwise the Turbine will be self contained.
